Okay, so this shot looks totally out of this world. Like, it doesn't even look real...

This is looking up the road back from the summit of Pikes Peak at the tail end of March. Up ahead is the ranger making sure no one goes up towards the avalanche. The winds here were unbelievable. At times you'd actually have to stop and brace yourself to make sure you didn't get blown over by the mountain gusts.

One of the amazing things was the way the snow would blow off the peaks. Here, check out a video I shot of this view, standing right up next to that checkpoint station. It's an incredible place... In the video, as the wind blows you can actually see the snow flying sideways across the camera.
