This is a shot from Fernbank's observatory when we paid it a visit the other night. The telescope is housed in a domed observatory. It's all computer controlled and can point to whatever you want it to simply by selecting the object on the screen which is nifty. It's really dark in this room (for obvious reasons so you don't kill your night vision) and this shot was taken handheld for 1 second at ISO 3200. Woo! heh, where's a tripod when you need one? ;)
