I've been wanting to go beyond 1:1 for macro for a while now. The easiest (and by far the most inexpensive) way to do so with my current equipment is to simply reverse my 50mm lens in front of the 100mm macro. Once I get through this week and all the projects that come with it, I'll try out more macro.
Speaking of which, what's with professors giving tests the Monday after spring break, as well as projects the whole week. A friendly reminder: "Spring Break" typically includes not having to study or doing work, at least at places other than Tech. =)
Oh, and to give you guys a sense of scale on this image, the word "Camera" on the back of the camera phone is smaller than the width of your pinky fingernail, around .75 cm across.
