Welp, we made it down to Florida. It was a fairly straightforward drive. We saw an awesome accident on the way over. Some car was going on an uphill offramp and I guess it was going too fast for the turn because it went right into the median and settled right on top of the barrier. Any further and it would have fallen off down about 20 feet or so. If you've ever seen tire marks up the side of a median, now you know how they got there.
As for this photo though, this is what the beaches of Melbourne look like: full of this awesome kelp. There's a bunch of surfers there too, though 200mm is wayyy too short to reach out there. heh
