Our first night we went out to Morton Overlook, one of the nicer vantage points to the Smokies, especially considering the beautiful V-shape of the mountains and prototypical winding mountain road below. Fortunately it wasn't bitingly cold like it was when we were there this past fall. We had a full moon out which was very helpful in lighting the landscape for this exposure.
