This past weekend I shot a gymnastics competition up in Chicago, IL. It was a fantastic trip and I got to meet a lot of photographers whose work I respect.
The first day we were there, it was "warm", or about 28 degrees. The last day of the shoot it had dropped to -2 with a wind chill of like -25. Yikes! This is from that morning. It was brutally cold and now I'm infinitely more grateful that I live in the south where it's warm. =)
This view is from standing atop a building (I love being on top of buildings) on Navy Pier and looking out over the water/ice/lake.
