This Saturday a couple of us went hiking up along Panther Creek in north Georgia. Before heading out to the hike, we went over to Tallulah Gorge to see all the boaters (there were hundreds of 'em) out enjoying the water released from the dam, which they only do a few times throughout the year. This is a shot of one of the kayakers going down a waterfall (though it's kinda hard to tell from this pespective of being above). Most people actually paddled to shore and walked down with their boats rather than attempt to actually go down the falls. Only a few actually attempted it and each person looked to get banged up pretty intensely on the way down. heh.. looks like fun!
