This afternoon I went hiking with a friend at a nice Chattahoochee Park in East Cobb. We took some time to stroll down the trails, wade across and through rivers, and naturally snap some pictures along the way.
In the river, I saw some more water striders. Fully grown, they can be quite large, looking much like spiders who literally walk on the surface of the water. I found these itty bitty baby striders tucked under a boulder. These little dudes FLY around like crazy little bugs, all over the place. They're tiny too... this was shot at 1:1 and still cropped. They're probably a millimeter or two long.
