Backpacking in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness again

So it’s been a while since I’ve gone camping. I had to look it up, but it’s actually been 4 YEARS! What the heck…? That just seems wrong. I used to go hiking 3x a week. Now it’s backed off quite a bit. What’s up with that?

Anyways, I just went back out to the Alpine Lakes Wilderness and I grabbed some cameras to shoot video and timelapse the whole time. 🙂 It was a lot of fun. We hiked out to Rachel Lake and then the Rampart Lakes. It was a pretty challenging hike, especially since we inadvertently went off trail and hiked up the side of the cliff instead of taking the normal trail up, but the scenery made it SO worth it! 😀
